That's what I call it. I make my living as a musician, so I suppose I was always going to end up on the artsy side of things — I just didn't expect it to come with a field pass.

The camera came out long before Pyper ever put on a uniform. Cheer is just where it all landed.

About the girls

I had my first daughter when I was 17. I don't recommend it. I also wouldn't take anything in the world for her.

Mine are all seven years apart. Taylor's the oldest, and she made me a "Pop" about a year ago. Grace is in the middle. Pyper's the youngest, and she's the one who put me on a cheer sideline.
